eagle rock community cultural center
la luz de jesus - my favorite art gallery in los angeles. La Luz de Jesus showcases mostly paintings, from figurative to the very abstract, as well as unusual sculpture. The exhibitions are considered post-pop; the art content ranges from folk to outsider to religious to sexually deviant. The gallery's main objective is to bring underground artists and counter culture to the masses.

nealist- Northeast Los Angeles first and oldest mailing list. We define Northeast LA as the area between the 5, 2,134 and 110 freeways. area. This list is used to broadcast our weekly calendar of New Music
concerts, and for our event announcements when we periodically get
together at particular concerts.
socalexp- is meant to be a forum for people in southern california interested in the following musics & any combination thereof: jazz, improv, new music, noise, ambient, psychedelic, drone, space, electronic, contemporary composition, umm...you get the idea. basically anything to which the term "experimental" can be applied is grounds for discussion here. in other words, it's not really meant for discussions of Korn and No Doubt (not that there's anything wrong with those bands...) the idea of providing a list of relevant bands/artists here occurred to me, but i'd rather not try to limit things right out of the gate by proclaiming something is permissible and other things are not.
tera (the eagle rock association) -similar to the asnc, the tera email list is about the happenings in the eagle rock and highland park neighborhoods.
